Race-Themed Restaurant Concept
Imagine a place where you can satisfy your "need for speed' without settling for fast food. Imagine down-home cookin' combined with thrilling, seat-of-your-pants racing action, and clever automotive-themed décor. Imagine a restaurant the whole family can get "revved up" about! Well, you won't have to imagine much longer. A famous NASCAR driver is bringing his family's racing legacy to the food service world with his exciting restaurant, giving hungry fans the chance to say, "I ate with a winner!"
From the back seat, your youngest shouts, "We're here!" and there's no mistaking that big, shiny, black & white checkered wall emblazoned with a giant, back-slanting NASCAR number. Looking like a huge mechanic's garage, the 6500 square-foot restaurant fills the air with the delectable aroma of home cooking. Our famous driver's signature race car sits out front, ready to roll...and so are the kids!
Stepping inside the foyer, state-of-the-art video technology startles you with an incredibly life-like image of "the man" himself. This "virtual host" invites you to enjoy yourself in the comfort of his homey establishment. An impressive display of racing merchandise and memorabilia lining the wide hallway thrills the kids as the gracious host leads you to your table, but one look at the fantastic, clever décor of the dining room sends them into overdrive! The open, airy space rings with the sound of excited diners. Raised tables and booths offer some privacy for conversation, while an eclectic collection of automotive headlights supply unusual but comfortable mood lighting.
The energetic wait staff, outfitted in pit crew jumpsuits, carry trays of refreshing drinks in "house glasses" shaped like oil cans, replete with the familiar Pennzoil logo...a definite "must have," for the kids. Scanning the room, your eyes follow the color coded "race track" floor to the scrumptious salad bar, and you're delighted to see that it's housed in a gigantic tool chest, where pit row lube hoses dispense salad dressing. All around the dining room, selected items of NASCAR memorabilia add to the atmosphere without overwhelming the down home feeling of the restaurant. Another color coded "race track" winds through a yawning garage door opening, where the floor transitions to the checkered tile pattern of the sports bar. You notice the clever bar stools shaped like racing seats supported by crank shafts and contemplate a cool, refreshing cocktail.
Suddenly, the roar of race car engines jolts you from your reverie! On the walls behind the booths, projection screens mounted at the proscribed 33-degree racetrack angle rumble to life with the image of cars screeching around a NASCAR oval. This stunning technological tour de force thrills the entire family, and you're pleased to hear that every 20 minutes you'll get another chance to experience the rush. Meanwhile, it's time to enjoy the great food and friendly atmosphere of this exciting restaurant.
